Tarte Energy LipSurgence: review & swatches

I have had this for a while now and I think I should probably share my thoughts by now. It retails for $24 and is an adjustable lip stain. Twist up chubby pencil. Mine broke the first time I used it, even though I didn't apply a lot of pressure to the product .  Goes on clear and then adjusts, it turns a bright pink on me. Can still see a bit of natural lip color below.  It has a very intense stain but at the end of the day it looks quite patchy Starts glossy then stain Doesn't dry out lips, feels like a balm Lovely color but because it turns patchy I don't recommend

Mac Creme Cup Lipstick: Review & Swatches

Most people when asked seem to say "Creme Cup" when asked what mac lipstick to get first. I finally picked this up a while ago and have been testing it out since. This lipstick is $16 so not exactly cheap, but their are dupes out there. Arm swatch: opaque on first swipe but slightly buildable. Lip Swatch: Goes on smooth-no tugging. Does look a bit patchy when reapplying. Perfect Everyday pinky nude Long wear time- full day but reapply mid day just in case You pay for the wear time in my opinion since most drugstore ones do not last as long-on me I would recommend since the color is wearable and lasts long so you will get enough use to get your money's worth
